Joshua T. Pearson is a Tampa-based visual artist born in Detroit and raised in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan giving him a unique perspective on both the natural and urban environment that inform his outlook and subject matter. Best known for his work as the founding member of the creative studio Pep Rally Inc. where he leads a multi disciplinary team of artists specializing in large scale murals, visual identity and immersive art installations. 

His art career started when he was only seventeen drawing custom designs at tattoo conventions and creating album art for local bands in Minneapolis. He eventually moved to Tampa where he began showing his artwork regularly while studying Interior Design at the International Academy of Design. This combination of experience led him to an internship at Creative Arts UNLTD where he spent the next five years developing museum exhibits and refining his graphic design and fabrication skills working his way from intern to Creative Director. Driven to explore even more facets of the commercial design industry he accepted an Associate Creative Director position at a digital agency called Shared Vision in St. Petersburg where he worked on television shows and print campaigns for the wide range of national clients. After two years in the digital art world the pull to return to his roots of hand crafted art drove him to start Pep Rally Inc.
